GOOD SHEPHERD GUATEMALA

Located just outside of Quetzaltenango, Good Shepherd serves 13 villages in the area. The training center is the heartbeat of the ministry to equip and train national believers in a culturally relevant way to reach their own people for Christ. Good Shepherd also runs a children’s home in town and is adding more housing for displaced children on the site of the training center.

Construction trips have resumed, so contact us if you’d like to be kept informed of an upcoming trip.

Concord partners with the International Mission Board and several independent ministries to help share the love of God in practical ways throughout the world.

CUBA – QUINTA IGLESIA BAUTISTA

Our partnership with Quinta Iglesia Bautista (Fifth Baptist Church) in Guantanamo City is currently limited because of US restrictions on travel and Cuban remittances.

Depending on restrictions, we hope to continue sending teams to assist with local outreach efforts and children’s ministry. In the meantime, we have shipped desperately needed medical supplies whenever possible.

In the past, we’ve seen God at work with over 100 new believers each time we’ve made a trip there, and we look forward to returning.

Pray for Italy

Pray For Italy exists to inform and connect individuals and churches in America to missions opportunities throughout Italy. Our ministry seeks to support and encourage the work that God is already doing in Italy by encouraging direct partnerships with existing Italian ministries and creating resources to help the American church learn how they can do that well. We long to see lives transformed by the Gospel and the people of Italy worshiping God together in healthy, reproducing churches. We believe that creating direct partnerships with Italian national pastors is the best way to accomplish that mission.

Concord’s Missions Center highlights a number of local, national, and international ministry opportunities for you and your family. Whether you would like to contribute financially, donate specific items, volunteer in the community, or go on an international mission trip, you’ll find a wide variety of options available here for your consideration.

Additional Community Outreaches

In addition to the local ministries highlighted in our Missions Center, Concord also does other specific community outreaches annually.

Clothing Giveaways

We host two clothing Giveaways each year, one in the spring and one in the fall. These are basically gigantic, free garage sales to help those in need in our community. Donation details and Giveaway dates are announced several weeks in advance of these outreaches.

Thanksgiving and Christmas Baskets

Each holiday season, we collect items to fill dinner baskets for families who need a little extra help to provide a special holiday meal. Donation details are announced several weeks in advance of these outreaches.

Missionary Partnerships

In addition to the various ministries highlighted in our Missions Center, Concord also partners with other mission works to help spread the Gospel worldwide.

Annie Armstrong (North American Mission Board)

Through your gifts to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, the North American Mission Board (NAMB) supports more than 5,000 missionaries and more than 3,800 chaplains who serve in difficult places where the Gospel is often not welcome. You may give online at concordchurch.com/give (select Annie Armstrong – Easter in the drop-down menu) or write a check with the ministry name on the memo line.

Lottie Moon (International Mission Board)

Each year, churches around the world help support 4,800 International Mission Board (IMB) missionaries (and their 4,000 children) who help spread the Gospel among 900 people groups. We partner with these missionaries by collecting a special offering each December. You may give online at concordchurch.com/give (select Lottie Moon – Christmas in the drop-down menu) or write a check with the ministry name on the memo line.
